Bergen Film Club and dotLeft are collaborating for International Women’s Day! We will screen Women’s Strike Continues by the Polish filmmaker Magda Malinowska who is also the co-organiser of the Social Congress of Women and a member of the Workers Initiative. The film will be followed by a panel discussion about conditions for reproduction work, unionisation, demanding living wages as well as access to abortion and childcare.

Through a balanced mix of interviews and political analysis, Women’s Strike Continues documents the struggle of women nursery workers in Poznań against the backdrop of the 2016 protests over the abortion ban.
