Tampopo (1985) is a heartwarming comedy about Japanese society, relationships, and the pursuit of perfection. The film follows a struggling ramen-shop owner, Tampopo (Nobuko Miyamoto), whose life gets turned upside down after two professional truck-drivers and ramen-enthusiasts visit her little shop.
