The story follows the restless Fantastic Mr. Fox, whose dissatisfaction with his life and compulsive need to prove himself land him in quite a situation. While the film is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book, Anderson puts his own twist on it. The result is a signature Anderson film; a story centering a dysfunctional family, which is presented not as something pathological but instead a mark of virtue. The film is stylized and exaggerated, with an incredibly strong visual language. The voice cast is stellar as well, featuring Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Adrien Brody, and Bill Murray.
